Nabor House holds three rush weekends per year for potential Nabors. The weekends start in the mid-afternoon on Saturdays and end after church and a nice lunch on Sundays. Over the weekend, potential new members will learn about Nabor House and get to know each of the current members. Everyone will take part in a fun activity together on Saturday night, such as bowling, laser tag, attending an Illini athletic event, or a cookout.
Juniors or seniors in high school are welcome to contact us for more information and to attend a rush weekend. Students applying through the Parkland Pathways program to U of I also qualify to live at Nabor House! Nabor House also welcomes current University of Illinois students or junior college transfer students to visit or attend rush weekends. We are actively recruiting all potential members for move-in starting the spring 2027 semester and beyond! Parents, worried about sending your son to college for a weekend? Don't be. Rush weekends are alcohol-free and structured for potential new members to meet and interact with current members. They will return home with a greater understanding of Nabor House and how we uphold our three tenets of education, cooperation, and recreation, together in Christian fellowship.
